Yes. The glass is cut just inside the display curve, so a case rim sits over the edge rather than lifting it. This is true of all three finishes.
No. The sensor window and Island area are cut out to the same tolerance Apple uses, so nothing is covered.
Lift the corner with the tab, lay tape over the dust to lift it off, and set the glass back down. The adhesive tolerates being re-seated a few times.
